My name is Kate Molitor and I am an elementary school teacher outside of Chicago. I was introduced to Bike the US for MS a few years back, and knew that I wanted to help this organization. The past few years I have donated to the cause. However, this year I have decided to give back and support those with MS by taking the challenge to ride a segment of this trip. Being relatively new to cycling I know this trip will be a true challenge both physically and mentally. However, I am looking forward to this adventure and know that when a climb gets tough or I feel as though I can't pedal anymore I will remind myself of the struggles those with MS face on a day to day basis. I can not wait to reach out and help those with MS across the country!
As I ride my bike across the US this summer with the rest of the team we will be completing service projects benefiting those with MS and raising money and awareness for this disease.
